The beloved Yuru-Chara Grand Prix, which ran from 2011 to 2020, is back with a new evolution: Yuruverse!
In 2025, this nationwide celebration of local mascots will return as a hybrid event—combining online voting and a live final showdown.

- Entry Period: June 2 (Mon) – July 6 (Sun), 2025
- Guideline Distribution: Late June (for registered participants)
- Information & Q&A Session (via Zoom, optional): Early July
- Final Voting Registration (optional): Late July
- Online Voting: August 1 – September 27, 2025 (tentative)
- Final Voting & Award Ceremony: September 27–28 (Sat–Sun), 2025

✅ Eligibility Requirements
- Must be affiliated with a municipality, company, or organization
- Must have experience as a local mascot character (or be planning an official debut)
- Must align with the event’s goal: “Empowering communities, businesses, and Japan through mascot culture”

- Applications are subject to review (to ensure alignment with the event’s purpose)
- Results will be sent by email within 3 business days
- Rejection reasons will not be disclosed

📌 Key Changes from Previous Editions
- Launch of new voting portal YuruNavi: 1 vote per day (ID registration required)
- Character profile editing feature (managed by the entry organization)
- Introduction of digital voting (details to be announced in June)
- Final ranking determined by a weighted combination of three vote types:
① YuruNavi Votes
② Digital Votes
③ On-site Final Voting

- Due to limited space at the venue, booth assignments may be decided by lottery if applications exceed capacity
- Tents may only be available for one day (see guidelines for details)
