Miruru-chan is the official mascot character of Olive Children’s Cafeteria.
She serves as an ambassador bringing smiles to children and warmth to their dining tables.
■ Origin of the Name
The name “Miruru” carries two meaningful origins:
【Mimamoru (to watch over)】
Watching over the children’s cafeteria activities and the growth of children with warmth.
【Minoru (to bear fruit)】
Hoping that these efforts will bear fruit and create a healthier, happier society.
The name expresses the wish to watch over children’s cafeterias and see their activities flourish, bringing energy and joy to society.
■ About Olive Children’s Cafeteria
Olive Children’s Cafeteria (Olive Kodomo Shokudo) is a monthly community kitchen held in Yokohama, Japan (Tama Plaza area).
Hosted by “Olive Body Care,” a women’s wellness clinic, this initiative has been running for over 3 years since July 2022, providing safe, nutritious meals and a warm gathering place for local children and families.
